Claremont, N.H : 32-year-old woman killed and three people injured in a drunken driving crash on Saturday afternoon, April 23, 2016

A 32-year-old woman was killed and three people were injured in a drunken driving crash Saturday afternoon, police said.

A 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee flipped onto its roof around 1:30 p.m. near the intersection of Main and North streets, police said.

A woman, whose name was not released, was thrown from the Jeep and landed in the Sugar River. She was taken to Valley Regional Hospital, where she died.

Three people had to be cut out of the Jeep, which was driven by 36-year-old Amber King of Claremont.

A 37-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man were taken to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center with serious injuries. Their names were not released.

King was arrested and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and negligent homicide, police said.
