Concord, N.C : School bus crashes into another bus near Mt. Pleasant High School on Tuesday, March 7, 2017

No students were injured in a fender bender between two school buses near N.C. 49.

Two buses bumped into each other at about 2:35 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, on Walker Road in the intersection of N.C. 49 near Mt. Pleasant High School.

“One bus rear-ended the other one at the intersection,” 1st Sgt. F.J. Hargro with Highway Patrol said. “One child was transported [to the hospital] just to be on the safe side.”

Hargro said about 17 students were aboard one bus and about six on the other. Some windows broke in the collision.
