One person is dead and several others have serious injuries after their truck hit a utility pole.

WCVB-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1THg1Er) that police responded to Old River Road around 10:45 p.m. Saturday for a report of a crash.

The vehicle's driver, 20-year-old Dyson Grace, of Riverside, Rhode Island, and three passengers were taken to Rhode Island Hospital with serious injuries. A 17-year-old passenger was taken to Hasbro Children's Hospital in Providence, Rhode

Island.

One passenger, 20-year-old Travis Rainville, also of Riverside, died from his injuries.

Police say none of the people in the vehicle was wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.

The investigation is ongoing.
