Tucson, AZ : 58-year-old bicyclist was dead after he was struck from behind while riding in a bike lane on early Thursday morning September 25th 2014

Tucson police have arrested a woman in the hit-and-run accident death of a 58-year-old bicyclist who was struck from behind while riding in a bike lane. Police say officers arrested 23-year-old Nichole Jacinto after locating the suspect vehicle in her apartment complex while investigating the accident that occurred early Thursday morning. According to police, a witness reported seeing the accident. The witness followed the suspect vehicle as it left the scene and provided police with a description and information on the vehicle's whereabouts. Police say Jacinto was arrested on suspicion of second-degree murder and leaving the scene of a fatal collision, and police say she showed signs of intoxication.
