Edwardsburg, MI : 28-year-old Niles man injured after a single-car crash near Oil City Road in Jefferson Township on Wednesday afternoon, Nov 25, 2015

A 28-year-old Niles man was injured after his car went off the roadway and hit a tree Wednesday afternoon in Jefferson Township, Michigan.
The driver, William Eugene Perrin, was transported to Borgess-Lee Memorial Hospital following the single-car crash near Oil City Road, south of Monette Street and northeast of Edwardsburg. Information about the extent of Perrin’s injuries, and a condition update, were unavailable Thursday.
While the crash remains under investigation, alcohol does appear to be a factor, according to a press release issued by the Cass County Sheriff’s Office. Perrin was wearing his seatbelt, the release also states.
