Land O'Lakes, FL : 39-year-old man dead in car crash on U.S. 41 in Land O'Lakes on Monday, February 2, 2015

A 39-year-old man died when he crashed his car into a tree early Monday in Land O'Lakes, according to Florida Highway Patrol reports.

The man was driving a 2002 Nissan Altima south on U.S. 41 near Sundance Lake Boulevard. troopers said. He apparently lost control of his car and crashed about 7 a.m. The man has not been identified.

No further information was immediately available.
