GRUNDY COUNTY, IA : 2 men killed in Grundy County crash identified on Hwy 14 on Sunday, 17th February 2019

Authorities have identified two men killed in a car crash involving a semi in Grundy County over the weekend.It happened around 12:40 p.m. Sunday on Hwy 14, north of 260th Street, 8 miles northwest of Conrad.

According to the sheriff's office, 21-year-old Justin Kime, of Stewartsville, Minnesota, was driving a 2002 Saturn north on Highway 14 when he lost control on the snow-covered road, crossed the center and was struck by a semi heading south.

Kime was transported to Grundy Memorial Hospital where he died, the sheriff's office.

Authorities said Kime's passenger, 21-year-old Tristan Marlow, of Council Bluffs, was transported to Unity Point Marshalltown where he died from his injuries.
