Polk County, FL : Haines City man dies in single-vehicle crash in Davenport early Monday, May 9, 2016

A 57-year-old died early this morning after being involved in a single-vehicle crash in Davenport, the Polk County Sheriff's Office said.

About 5:50 a.m., Mark T. Moore, of 1121 Surry St. in Haines City, was heading west on Providence Boulevard in a 1998 GMC Jimmy, reports said.

The area, which has a speed limit of 25 mph, is a four-lane, divided road and is inside the Providence gated community on U.S. 17/92, north of Davenport, said Donna Wood, Sheriff's Office spokeswoman.
