Allentown, PA : A Bucks County man was killed on Sunday, July 2, 2017

A Bucks County man was killed Sunday afternoon when his motorcycle struck an SUV head-on in Williams Township, police said.

Anthony Maggeo, 30, of Warminster, was traveling south in the 500 block of South Delaware Drive around 3:30 p.m., state police said in a news release.

Maggeo, driving a Harley-Davidson, tried to pass a vehicle while negotiating a curve in the road, according to the news release.

The motorcycle struck a northbound Jeep Liberty on South Delaware Drive driven by Richard Delabar, 78, of Riegelsville, Buck County.

Police said Maggeo was pronounced dead at the scene by the Northampton County Coroner's Office.

Delabar, and a passenger, Shirley Delabar, 76, also of Riegelsville, received minor injuries. A child was also in the Jeep but was not injured.

Maggeo was not wearing a helmet. The crash is under investigation.
