Findlay, OH : Motorcycle crash hurts Findlay man on Thursday, 13th June 2019

A Findlay man was injured Thursday night when he lost control of his motorcycle on U.S. 224, just west of Findlay, according to the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office reported Matthew Girdler, 30, was driving a 2005 Honda motorcycle east on U.S. 224, near the Hancock County 223 intersection, at 9:57 p.m. when he attempted to slow down on the wet roadway. After applying the brakes, Girdler lost control of the motorcycle, which overturned and ejected him.

Girdler was taken by Hanco EMS to Blanchard Valley Hospital.

He was cited for failure to maintain control, the sheriff’s office reported.
