OGDEN CANYON, UT : Head-on crash in Ogden Canyon leaves three people in serious condition on Saturday, 15th October 2016

After a head-on car crash in Ogden Canyon on Saturday night, three people were in serious condition.

Weber County Sheriff's Office Sgt. Nealy Adams said a sedan traveling east on State Route 39 crossed the center line at about 7:50 p.m. and hit a westbound truck.

Three of the five occupants of the sedan were transported to a local hospital, Adams said. Two other passengers in the sedan and the driver and passenger in the truck has minor injuries.

State Route 39 was closed for about an hour but reopened at approximately 9 p.m.

The crash is under investigation, Adams said.
