Orlando, FL : Orange County deputy injured in a crash involving three vehicles near South Orange Blossom Trail on Thursday night, February 19, 2015

An Orange County Sheriff's Office deputy was involved in a crash near the Florida Mall on Thursday night, officials said.

The crash happened around 9:05 p.m. on Sand Lake Road near South Orange Blossom Trail, investigators said.

The deputy was taken to a hospital, but his injuries are unknown.

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
