Tucson, AZ : A motorcyclist was seriously injured when a vehicle pulled out in front of the motorcycle at Grant Road On Sunday, August 14th, 2016

A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries Sunday afternoon in a crash on Grant Road in Tucson, authorities said.

Sgt. Pete Dugan, a spokesman for the Tucson Police Department, said the accident may have happened when a vehicle pulled out in front of the motorcycle.

The crash caused the eastbound lanes of Grant, between North Columbus Boulevard and North Belvedere Avenue, to be closed for more than three hours. The roadway reopened a little before 5 p.m.

The driver of the other vehicle remained on scene.
