Chicago, IL : Man dies when motorcycle crashes into minivan on Northwest Side in the 3800 block of North Cicero Avenue on Thursday, 8th August 2019

A man died after the motorcycle he was on hit a minivan that was trying to cross a busy Portage Park neighborhood street Thursday morning, police said.
The 47-year-old man was pronounced dead at Lutheran General Hospital following the crash about 9:15 a.m. in the 3800 block of North Cicero Avenue, according to police
Police were called to the scene and told by witnesses that a motorcycle heading south on Cicero T-boned into a minivan that was heading west on Berenice Avenue and tried to cross Cicero, said Officer Jessica Alvarez, a police spokeswoman.
Officers found the man lying on the ground, still wearing his helmet.
The minivan driver, a 68-year-old woman, and a 3-year-old girl who was a passenger in the minivan were not hurt, Alvarez said.
