Hutchinson, KS : Hutch man injured in crash with semi at 11th and K-61 on Monday morning, January 2, 2017

A Hutchinson man was hurt Monday morning after being involved in a crash with a semi at K-61 and 11th Avenue.

David C. Richmond, 49, of Great Bend, reported he was driving a freightliner semi in the intersection when he struck a vehicle driven by James D. Dix, 74, of Hutchinson, according to the Hutchinson Police Department bulletin.

Dix was sent to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center for evaluation of his injures.

He was not admitted to the hospital.
