Acton ,CA :One Person injured after Highway 14 crash at Escondido Canyon Road on Tuesday, September 8th 2015

One person was hurt and taken to the hospital Tuesday following a three-vehicle traffic collision near Acton, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Fire Department said.

California Highway Patrol officers received reports from motorists Tuesday afternoon of a crash in the northbound lanes of Highway 14 at Escondido Canyon Road shortly before 3 p.m.

Paramedics with the county Fire Department were notified of the crash at 2:59 p.m., said Fire Department Inspector Randall Wright.

They arrived at the scene at 3:14 p.m., where they treated at least one person for injuries and then took that person to an “area hospital,” he said.

Three vehicles were involved in the crash, according to the CHP.
