Quincy, IL : Woman was cited after a crash in south of Quincy on Friday morning, May 6, 2016

A Quincy woman was cited after a crash Friday morning south of Quincy.

The Adams County Sheriff's Department said deputies responded to the two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Payson Road and Shildt Lane at 8:03 a.m. Involved were a 2008 Pontiac Torrent driven by Abigail L. Oshner, 25, and a 2013 Ford F-150 driven by Erick W. Downey, 45, of Quincy.

Osher was taken to Blessing Hospital with minor injuries. Downey suffered minor injuries but refused treatment.

Osher was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Assisting were the Adams County Ambulance Service and the Tri-Township Fire Department.
