HOLIDAY ISLAND, AR : Eureka Springs man killed in crash on Wednesday, 7th November 2018

Arkansas State Police say 34-year-old Nicholas R. Godard of Eureka Springs was killed Wednesday morning in a one-vehicle wreck near Holiday Island.A report by Trooper Jeff Richardson said Godard was eastbound in a 2006 Honda on State Line Road west of the intersection with Summit Drive about 6:40 a.m. Wednesday.

The report said Godard was negotiating a right-hand curve when the vehicle went out of control, crossed the center line and ran off the roadway, hitting a utility pole.

Both the weather and roadway were clear at the time of the wreck, the report said,
