Volusia County,FL : Woman killed, another seriously injured in wrong-way crash on I-95 on July, Sunday 16th 2017

A 21-year-old woman was killed and another person was seriously injured in a wrong-way crash on I-95 in Volusia County.
Troopers said Alex Jamison, 28, was driving his Ford pickup northbound in the southbound lanes of I-95.
Jamison struck a Toyota Prius, traveling southbound, head-on. The impact caused the pickup to overturn and Jamison was able to get out of the vehicle on his own, according to the report.

The driver of the Prius, Maria Stengel, 29, received serious injuries and was transported to Halifax Medical Center.

Stengel's passenger, a 21-year-old female, was killed in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation and charges are pending against Jamison, the report stated.
