South Oklahoma City, OK : Tractor-trailer, multiple vehicles in I-35 crashes Thursday in south OKC on Thursday, 20th December 2018

A tractor-trailer and multiple vehicles were involved in crashes with injuries Thursday morning on Interstate 35 in south Oklahoma City, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Crews will be on the scene until the afternoon due to fuel that spilled, according to the Oklahoma Department of Transportation. Interstate 35 southbound will be narrowed to one lane between Interstate 240 and SE 89.

A crash involving the tractor-trailer was reported about 9 a.m. in the southbound lanes of I-35 between SE 82 and SE 89. Several more crashes then resulted in the southbound lanes before the roadway was cleared.

Also Thursday, one child suffered a minor injury in a school bus crash in southeast Oklahoma City Thursday morning, firefighters reported.

About 8 a.m., the crash was reported at SE 149 and S Air Depot Boulevard. There were 10 children on the bus at the time, firefighters reported.
