A church in Christmas is remembering a grandmother and her 13-year-old grandson who were killed in a car crash Saturday night.

On Sunday, church members gathered at the Christmas Church of Christ for Sunday worship.

Linda McCormick and her grandson, Dillon McCormick, were killed on State Road 50 in Bithlo when a BMW collided into the pickup truck they were in.

Linda's husband and Dillon's great uncle were also in the vehicle.

Teddy McCormick is in critical condition and Carl McCormick is in serious condition at Orlando Regional Medical Center.

The small town of Christmas is still trying to grasp the news.

The family has lived here for more than 40 years.

"He was very loving, giving, every person that was in that church gets a hug from Dillon," said Anna Johnson, family friend.

"They were in several programs here and they were just a wonderful family and we loved them," said Oliver Jones, Assistant Pastor at the Christmas Church of God.

The driver of the BMW was also killed in the crash.

At this time, his name has not been released.
