TOLEDO, OH : Passenger runs from scene following single-vehicle crash on Thursday, 21st March 2024

Around 5 p.m. Thursday, a vehicle driving on the Ohio Turnpike near mile marker 61 went off the side of the road and hit multiple guardrails before flipping.

According to officials with the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP), the vehicle was a Hyundai Tucson driven by Vraj Patel, 20. The passenger of the vehicle ran from the scene before troopers arrived on the scene. They were not located.

No injuries were reported in the crash. Patel was cited for failure to control his vehicle.
