ORANGE COUNTY, FL : Deadly crash on Semoran Boulevard splits car in two on June, Tuesday 27th 2017

Two people were killed in a crash in Orange County that split a car in two.

The crash happened in the area of Semoran Boulevard and Hanging Moss Road.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash involved two vehicles and happened just after 8 p.m. on Tuesday.

Troopers said one of the vehicles was driving southbound on Semoran Boulevard when it attempted to make a left turn into a parking lot.

The vehicle was hit on the right side and was split into two pieces after it directly hit a car driving northbound, authorities said.

The driver and a passenger in the southbound vehicle were killed, while another passenger is said to be in critical condition.

Police have not released any information on the driver of the other vehicle.

The investigation is still ongoing.
