Tractor trailer crash closes part of Western Avenue

A multiple vehicle crash has closed the eastbound side of Western Avenue, near the ramp to I-640/75.

The wreck happened around 7:00 AM Saturday. The road is expected to reopen around 11:00 AM.

Police say two tractor trailers were involved. One of the drivers was hurt. The extent of his injuries in unknown.

Westbound traffic is affected with no delays.
