Payson, AZ : 14-year-old boy died in struck by two vehicles in Payson on Monday,December 7, 2015

Police say a 14-year-old boy died Monday morning when he was struck by two vehicles as he attempted to cross a street on his way to school in Payson.
Payson Police Chief Brad Bishop said the youth was crossing near 600 West and Utah Avenue about 8 a.m. Monday when he was hit first by one car and then immediately another. He was dead at the scene.
Bishop said the victim's name was being withheld pending notification of his family.
The investigation was just beginning, so further details on whether the teen crossed against a traffic light, or whether he was in a crosswalk at the time of the collision, were not immediately available.
