Richmond, VA : Moped rider seriously injured in Henrico crash on Monday, 3rd October 2016

A moped driver suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash Monday in eastern Henrico County, police said.
The accident happened about 6 p.m. when a Honda Accord traveling westbound on Nine Mile Road hit an eastbound moped attempting to make a left turn onto Evergreen Road, police said.
The moped driver was taken to a local hospital.
No charges have been filed in the crash, which remains under investigation.
