Medford, OR : A 58-year-old Grants Pass man died on Saturday, August 26, 2017

A 58-year-old Grants Pass man died Saturday after his 2000 BMW rolled over at the milepost 33 exit on Interstate 5 in Central Point.

The Oregon State Police said Bruce Anthony Curtis died at the scene of the crash, on the northbound offramp, which was called in at 5:53 p.m.

Witnesses reported the BMW exited the freeway at a high rate of speed prior to the crash, according to the OSP.

The car veered off the offramp and flipped over on its top in an adjacent field, troopers said.

Emergency medical personnel pronounced Curtis dead at the scene.

The OSP was assisted on the scene by a deputy medical examiner from the Central Point Police Department, Jackson County Fire District and the Oregon Department of Transportation.
