Vandalia, IL : 4 dead in head-on crash after Vandalia High School football playoff game on Saturday, 16th November, 2019

Four people, including two teenagers and the grandparents of at least one of the teens, died over the weekend in a head-on crash after a Vandalia, Illinois, high school football game, police said.
The 17-year-old driver of a Ford F-150 crossed the center line and struck the car carrying the four victims Saturday in Montgomery County, southeast of Springfield, according to police. The four were returning from a Vandalia High School playoff game.
The victims were 73-year-old William Protz, his wife Jackolyn, 72, and 14-year-olds Jenna Protz and Holly Lidy.
Jenna was the daughter of the Vandalia principal, Randy Protz. She was riding with her grandparents.
The teen who was driving the Ford pickup truck was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
