Phoenix, AZ : Motorcyclist passes away following northside crash on Sunday, November 30, 2014
Phoenix police say a motorcyclist struck by a vehicle in an intersection did not survive.
Police spokesman James Holmes says a pickup truck heading west on Bell Road around 8:30 a.m. Sunday collided with a motorcycle going east.
Holmes says the truck was making a left turn and it appears the driver failed to yield.
The male rider of the motorcycle was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Holmes says charges against the driver, who was not injured, are pending.
The identities of the victim and the driver have not been released.
