Malibu,CA : 4-vehicle crash injures 6, closes PCH in Malibu on May,Wednesday 30th 2018

A half-dozen people were injured Wednesday, May 30, in a four-vehicle collision that closed both directions of Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, authorities said.

The multi-vehicle crash was reported about 2:40 p.m. at PCH and Kanan Dume Road, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Two of the patients were airlifted and two were taken by ambulance to a trauma center, while the other two were transported in ambulances to the nearest hospital, a fire department inspector said.

The crash and response closed PCH in both directions, according to the California Highway Patrol.
