Westtown, PA : Two people injured after crash on Route 202 Wednesday morning, September 14, 2016
Two people were hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash on Route 202 Wednesday morning in the 1000 block of Wilmington Pike.
Police said a 2013 Ford Fusion and a 2016 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle were both traveling southbound on Route 202. According to police, the front bumper of the Ford Fusion reportedly struck the motorcycle for an unknown reason.
Both drivers were taken to Paoli Hospital.
The motorcyclist, a 31-year-old man from Penn Valley, is in critical condition. The driver of the car, a 25-year-old man from Trenton, N.J., is in stable condition.
The sedan came to a rest on the median of Route 202.
Both a northbound and southbound lane were closed during the crash investigation.
Medic 91, along with Good Fellowship Ambulance, West Chester Fire Department, West Chester and West Goshen police responded to the accident. All lanes were reported open by 1 p.m. Wednesday.
