Yeehaw Junction, FL : 1 killed in crash near Yeehaw Junction hours after fatal crash near same intersection on Monday, 30th November, 2020

A 44-year-old Georgia man was killed in a crash near Yeehaw Junction Monday evening just 12 hours after a triple fatal crash occurred near the same intersection, Florida Highway Patrol spokeswoman Lt. Kim Montes said.
The driver, from Cumming, Georgia, was driving west on State Road 60 near Kenansville Road shortly before 6 p.m. when he attempted to pass cars in front of him by driving into the eastbound lane, Montes said.
He hit a trailer being pulled by a Chevy pickup truck before colliding head-on with another Chevy pickup truck driven by a 47-year-old man from Vero Beach, according to a crash report.
The Georgia man was pronounced dead at the scene. The Vero Beach man sustained critical injuries in the accident, Montes said.
The driver of the trailer-towing truck, a 57-year-old woman from Pompano Beach, was uninjured.
FHP is still investigating the crash, Montes said.
