WEST JORDAN, UT : 47-year-old Herriman man killed after slamming into Smith's in West Jordan on Tuesday, 17th October 2023

A 47-year-old man from Herriman was killed after ramming into a building in West Jordan.

According to West Jordan police, they were dispatched to the Smith’s Grocery Store located at 1820 West 9000 South at approximately 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday on reports of a vehicle colliding with the south side of the building.

Upon arrival, officials found one person inside the vehicle. They immediately initiated life-saving measures, but the man was pronounced dead on scene.
