HALLSBURG, TX : A one-vehicle accident near Hallsburg on Tuesday, November, 21st 2017

The man who died Tuesday in a one-vehicle accident near Hallsburg was identified Wednesday as Robert Daniel Davis, 60, of Cameron.

Texas Department of Public Safety Sgt. D.L. Wilson said the accident happened at about 6:50 a.m. Tuesday, about one-half mile west of Battle Lake Road in McLennan County.

The 1996 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 pickup Davis drove was located at about 6:50 a.m. in ditch along State Highway 6 and had extensive damage. The pickup was headed west when it went into a ditch, hit a culvert and rolled several times before it came to a stop in the ditch.
