Armstrong County, PA : 422 westbound still closed after coal truck crash on Wednesday, 17th October 2018
The eastbound lanes of Route 422 in Armstrong County have reopened after a vehicle crash early Wednesday morning shut down the road in both directions near the Butler County line.
Emergency dispatchers in Armstrong County say that emergency services workers have cleared the scene of the accident, which occurred between Glade Run Road and Bear Street and reportedly involved a coal truck that flipped onto its side.
Dispatchers say that PennDOT officials and Pennsylvania State Police are still on the scene.
It was not immediately clear how long the road's westbound lanes would remain closed.
