CHICAGO, IL : Five to six people crashed a pickup truck and a Dodge Charger into a building in the 700 block of North Franklin Street on Tuesday, 24th October 2023

A group of people crashed two vehicles into a River North boutique mall on Tuesday morning, before stealing merchandise from inside.

Police said, around 5:50 a.m., a group of five to six people crashed a pickup truck and a Dodge Charger into a retail building in the 700 block of North Franklin Street.

The building houses Endless Supply, a sneaker and jewelry boutique; The Little Black Dress, Etc., a clothing boutique; and Hall Madden, a custom suit shop.

Police said the burglars stole merchandise and got into the pickup truck and fled the scene, leaving the Charger still inside the building.

No one was injured, and no one was in custody Tuesday morning.
