California, San Jose : A car crashed into a North San Jose restaurant on Monday, 18th June 2018

A car crashed into a North San Jose restaurant early Monday, but no one was injured, and the building was not seriously damaged, police said.

The collision was reported at 7:18 a.m. in the 2000 block of North Capitol Avenue, near the Milpitas border, when a silver four-door sedan went into the business, according to San Jose police.

Responding firefighters determined there were no injuries, and that the structure was still sound. Police said the driver, described only as a 41-year-old woman, stopped at the scene and cooperated with officers.

The cause of the crash was not immediately released, and police said it is unknown whether drugs or alcohol played a role.
