CINCINNATI, OH : 6 injured in chain-reaction crash in Mount Airy in the 5000 block of Colerain Avenue on Tuesday, 28th May 2019

Six people were injured in a chain-reaction crash Tuesday morning in Cincinnati's Mount Airy neighborhood.

It happened around 11 a.m. in the 5000 block of Colerain Avenue. The crash involved four vehicles, including a Metro Access bus.According to crash investigators, a 27-year-old man was driving a Ford Charger south on Colerain Avenue.

That vehicle struck a 2007 Ford Escape turning north onto Colerain Avenue form Blue Spruce Road, according to crash investigators.

The Ford Escape then went left of center, striking a 2007 Chevrolet Monte Carlo that was northbound on Colerain Avenue.

The Monte Carlo then struck a northbound Metro Access bus.

Two people were inside the Ford Charger, police said. The 27-year-old driver suffered minor injuries, but his front seat passenger was taken to the hospital, where he's listed in critical condition, officials said. Police said neither was wearing a seat belt.

The driver of the Ford Escape was the sole occupant, authorities said. She was taken to the hospital where she remains in serious condition.

Two people were inside of the Chevrolet Monte Carlo, officials said. Both were taken to the hospital with serious injuries,
