Watertown, WI : Two people dead after police chase on Concord Avenue near Brian Court early Wednesday morning, Oct 7, 2015

A police chase ended in a fatal crash in Watertown.

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said the chase began with a 2 a.m. traffic stop in the city of Watertown. The pursuit left town, then returned to town when the car crashed into a tree on Concord Avenue near Brian Court early Wednesday morning.

Five people were in the car at the time of the crash. Officers said two people were pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have not commented on the reason for the chase.
