IRVING, TX : 2 Dead After Driver Going Wrong Way Crashes Into Another On 183 In Irving in the westbound lanes of the highway near Belt Line Road on Monday, 25th February 2019

Two drivers are dead after one of them was going the wrong way on TX-183 in Irving and crashed into the other early Monday morning.

The crash happened just before 3 a.m. in the westbound lanes of the highway near Belt Line Road.

Police say an SUV with California license plates was heading east in the westbound lanes of 183. The SUV hit a Corvette in the westbound lanes head on.

The man driving the Corvette was killed, and a male passenger in his car was taken to Parkland hospital. Police say the passenger had serious injuries, including two broken legs.

The driver of the SUV also died. The identities of the two drivers have not yet been released.
