Times Past - Marietta Times

Marietta Times - Mrs. Frank Kidwell, of Marietta, drowned when the Steamer Sonoma sank in the Kentucky River at Glen Mary. The Sonoma used to run between Marietta and Beverly. Four others drowned in the accident. Merchant's Day will be held on May 13 in Marietta.
