VALLEY STREAM, NY : 1 killed, 4 injured in crash involving dump truck on Tuesday, 21st August 2018

Authorities on Long Island say one person was killed and four others injured when a minivan and a dump truck collided.

WABC-TV reports the crash happened around 11 a.m. in Valley Stream. Witnesses tell police the dump truck struck the minivan, causing it to roll over several times.Police say two people had to be extricated from their vehicle.

Authorities haven't released the identities of the victims.
