Kernville, CA : Driver was minor injuried in truck crash on Saturday morning around 8.15 am Interstate 5 on July 19th 2014.

Interstate 5 in Kern County remains partially blocked after a semi-truck caught fire and tipped over on Saturday morning.

The accident was reported at 8:15 a.m. on southbound Interstate 5 at Weiser Road, said California Highway Patrol Officer Kirk Arnold. As of noon Saturday, the No. 2 lane remained closed due to the accident.

The truck driver, whose name was not released, had minor injuries due to the crash, Arnold said. The flaming truck also caused fire damage to a bridge overcrossing.
