Islip, NY : Motorcyclist critical injuries in crash with SUV on Long Island on Sunday, Oct 11, 2015

Suffolk County police say a motorcyclist is in critical condition after she collided with a sport utility vehicle on Long Island.

Twenty-six-year-old Amanda Dominick of Islip hit the SUV around 4 p.m. Sunday in Islip. She was taken to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore for treatment. The other driver, 34-year-old Timothy Kaye of Lindenhurst, was not injured.

An investigation is continuing.
