Belmont, N.C : Woman died after a crash on Interstate 85 in Belmont on Monday night, Nov 16, 2015

Police in Belmont said a woman died after crashing into a truck on Interstate 85 near late Monday night.

The crash happened around 10 p.m. near exit 27, according to authorities.
Channel 9’s news partners at The Gaston Gazette reported that a man in the victim’s car suffered serious injuries, and that the truck driver was also hurt.
Investigators told Channel 9 they plan to release the victims' name Tuesday later morning.
Police are speaking with the survivors to figure out how the crash happened.
