Twin Falls County, ID : Idaho teen killed in crash in Twin Falls County on US-93 near milepost 37 on Friday night, January 9, 2015

An 18-year-old from Hollister was killed in a car crash in Twin Falls County on Friday night.

Idaho State Police responded to the crash, which happened shortly before 10:30 p.m. Friday on US-93 near milepost 37.

Investigators say 18-year-old Michael Reichlein, of Hollister, was driving south on US-93 when a vehicle driving north struck his car. Troopers say the vehicle driving north was driven by 45-year-old Richard Nicholson, of Henderson, Nevada.

Reichlein died from his injuries on scene. Troopers say the driver of the other vehicle, 45-year-old Richard Nicholson, of Henderson, Nevada, was taken to the St. Luke's Medical Center in Twin Falls.

Investigators say both drivers were wearing their seatbelts.
