Leary, TX : Three people injured in 7-vehicle crash on I-30 in Bowie County on Tuesday afternoon, Oct 13, 2015

Eastbound traffic on I-30 in Bowie County is back to normal after one lane had to be shutdown because of a crash involving an 18-wheeler and several other vehicles Tuesday afternoon.

It happened around 5 p.m. near mile marker 213 in Leary, where the driver of the 18-wheeler said another driver went around him in her car and then came back in front of him, leaving him nowhere to go.

"People need to understand you can't stop dead in front of a big truck doing 60 mph and that's what the lady in the black Compass did. She just flew right in front of me and stopped dead. I had no where to go," explained the truck driver Paul Farmer.

Farmer said he hit the brakes, but lost control and hit the cable barrier, bouncing off and back into traffic where he hit 6 other vehicles.

Three people were injured in the crash but their conditions are unknown.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating.
