Bozeman,MT : Bozeman man sentenced for deadly crash on July, Friday 21th 2017

When Richard Lee crashed his pickup and killed his friend Micah Aafedt, there were “dozens, if not hundreds, of victims,” said Judge Brad Newman.

From Aafedt’s family, to Lee himself, who suffered serious injuries including a traumatic brain injury, to the family and friends of both young men.

“Regardless of what sentence I impose here today, it’s pretty clear to the court that I’m not going to make anyone whole as a result of these proceedings,” said Newman following a couple hours of testimony Friday afternoon.
