BADGER, IA : One person is dead and two others are injured after an apparent head-on collision on February, Sunday 11th 2018

One person is dead and two others are injured after an apparent head-on collision south of Badger Sunday afternoon, according to Trooper Neil Morenz, of the Iowa State Patrol.

The crash was reported sometime around 2 p.m.

A large stretch of road along Paragon Avenue was closed off for more than an hour as first responders worked at the scene.

The Iowa State Patrol is continuing to investigate.

Webster County sheriff’s deputies, Badger Volunteer Fire Department, Vincent Ambulance, Unity Point Health – Trinity Regional Medical Center, and Webster County medical examiner were also on scene.
