Albany ,OR : 29 - Years Jerrell Ridley Stevens True killed while car that drove off after striking near Century Drive and Kizer Avenue on Friday night ,April 3rd 2015

Investigators found the car that drove off after striking and killing a pedestrian in Albany overnight Friday, Oregon State Police said Easter Sunday.

Troopers said Jerrell Ridley Stevens True, 29, of Albany, had been hit by the car near Century Drive and Kizer Avenue sometime between 11 p.m. Friday and 7:15 a.m. Saturday.

Century Drive runs parallel with Interstate 5 north of Albany.

At around 4 p.m. that evening, a woman went to the Albany Police Department and told investigators she was involved in the crash. She is cooperating with investigators.

State Police said Sunday afternoon that they had located the vehicle they believe struck and killed Stevens
